Nick and Helen Forster

Nick and Helen Forster, are co-producers of eTown, a nationally syndicated radio show heard on more than 300 stations across the US and around the world, with one purpose: to educate people about community and environment through entertainment. Nick, is an internationally renowned bluegrass musician, and has served as the eTown show’s executive producer and co-host since creating the program in 1991. Helen Forster, an accomplished vocalist and veteran stage and voice-over talent, acts as co-host and lends her golden-toned voice to both the spoken and musical portions of every eTown show. As co-executive producer, Helen stewards the E-Chievement Award® selection process to ensure its integrity.  Nick is a founding member of the award winning bluegrass band Hot Rize, has been called a “virtuoso” by Rolling Stone Magazine and continues to perform with eTown’s musical guests each week. His quick wit and charm give him instant rapport with some of the world’s best-known musicians and thought leaders. Helen also edits the live show for broadcast. For several years, Helen owned and produced the internationally acclaimed Telluride Bluegrass Festival where she met Nick.
