Seleyn DeYarus

Seleyn DeYarus sees business as uniquely qualified to provide regenerative contributions to the vibrancy of communities and ecosystems in collaboration with society.  Her efforts seek to elevate the benefits to business of shifting from shareholder to stakeholder-centric practice. Founder and executive director of At the Epicenter, a 501c3 nonprofit educational organization, she orchestrates interactive gatherings that attract mission-directed enterprise interested in evolving existing business practices to those that may contribute to shared wellbeing. She was co-owner and CEO of Best Organics, an all-organic on-line gift basket and brand promotion company that she lead to become a Certified B Corporation, which was named a 2015 Best for the World Small Business. She is a former managing partner of Compass Natural, a marketing and PR agency in the natural and organic industry. She served as Development Director for The Organic Center, a 501c3 scientific research organization now part of the Organic Trade Association. She has a B.A. degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she was elected President of the Student Government Association and then served as a White House intern. Seleyn serves on the Advisory Board of the Prairie Dog Coalition of the Humane Society of the United States.
